The Front Porch is a rustic cabin nestled on ten acres outside of Burton, Texas. The cabin has one bedroom, one bathroom, two sofa sleepers and sleeps six. It has a wood burning stove, A/C, a full kitchen with antique stove and large front porch for enjoying the view of the pond. This is an un-hosted Bed and Breakfast where all the supplies are provided to prepare your breakfast. Perfect for couples and families getting away for the weekend. You will enjoy the quiet setting in the country with a private entrance and pond. Join us for the local festivals in Winedale, Roundtop, Warrenton, Festival Hill or just relax and take advantage of the fishing, hiking and pleasant views from the front porch provides. There are dozens of wonderful antique shops nearby in Carmine that are open on Sundays.

Directions from Houston: Take 290 West past Brenham 12 miles to Spur 125 Burton, Texas. Turn left FM 1697 from Burton for 4 miles; take a left Sandtown Road for 3 miles to Young Lane turn right. Follow straight ahead for .9 mile turn left at Acres Alegres to the next entrance on the right.
